STATE VISITING PERIODS FOR BOATERS
When visiting another state with your vessel, be sure to have a “valid out-of-state” registration on your vessel. If you overstay the visiting period you will be asked to change your state registration, pay those state fees, which MIGHT include a use tax or an excise tax.
